Did a four and a half hour shoot with a model called Rebecca today. She was great because she was so confident and natural in front of the camera.
We managed several outfit changes and took a few shots outside so it was a great shoot.
My wife Melanie wasn't too pleased as I missed most of the bank holiday but work comes first right now.

Just about to edit over 400 wedding pictures - not that I usually do weddings but it was for a mate. Anyone thinking about doing weddings for a living must be mad or brave or both.
Had a great night last night. We stayed over at the MK Hilton after a meal at The Livingroom.
A change of scene just for one night has been really relaxing.
Had some work done in the studio yesterday, a sparky came in and fitted a mirror light and there's a carpenter coming in tomorrow to fit some shelving.
I've got a shoot with a new model tomorrow pm so I need to get in there and clean up before she turns up.

I'm sitting in the Living Room restaurant in Milton Keynes having just had a bloody lovely stake. Next up it's sticky toffee pudding followed by a coffee - marvellous.
It's our wedding anniversary today - 11 years!. Feels a lot longer to be honest and I can't believe how much has changed since we got hitched.
Just walked my two Jack Russell's around the spinney at Little Horwood. I always get loads of ideas for photo's I'd like to set up when I'm out walking.
I just wish people would clean up after their dogs - parts of the footpath are like a mine field.
Looking forward to the Man Utd v Arsenal game tonight - come you Gooners.

Radio Show

Did my monthly spot on BBC Radio 3 Counties yesterday which went well. We always get a few odd callers asking me why their camera doesn't work underwater etc but it's good fun none the less.
We get the odd caller asking about erotic photography which is great - especially on a station listened to by mainly old folks!.

Lightroom

I'm trying to get to grips with Adobe Lightroom - I've used Photoshop for years and I use DXO for all my RAW conversions but Lightroom looks pretty cool so I'm going to stick with it for now.
I've got a stack of pictures to process from two portrait shoots and a big college I photographed in Burnley yesterday.
I've just finished creating a new website for my studio photography with Amazing Internet and it's a brilliant service. Just select the templates and enter the text and pictures and it's ready to go live!.
